Sourced from the Women Producers at Colombia, El Desarrollo Association. The association promotes self-sustainability, economic, social and cultural development. The El Desarrollo Women's Association is comprised of 221 families located across 41 villages on the western slopes of the East Andes in Gigante, Huila Department. Most of these families are making their income from agriculture, and the association benefits all members.
